FAQs

What are your qualifications?

I am a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (BachNutrDiet) and also completed a bachelor degree in Exercise Science.

I am experienced and qualified to work with both adults and paediatrics.

What is involved in the first consultation?

I first spend time getting to know you or your child, this ensures I tailor my intervention towards your needs and lifestyle. Initial consultations run for 60 minutes and include:

  • A comprehensive analysis of your past and present nutrition and medical concerns,

  • Discussion of your health goals to create steps to achieve them,

  • Nutrition and dietetic advice

  • Education regarding your nutrition-related health concern,

  • Individualised nutrition recommendations

  • Supplementation guide (if required)

  • Customised nutrition and meal plan (optional).

Do you recommend any medical testing?

Yes, if required. Testing is dependant on your nutritional concern and symptoms. Full blood analysis is usually recommended prior to your initial consultation so imbalance and deficiencies of nutrients and hormones can be managed.

DNA profiling is offered to some clients as a genetic morphism can greatly affect the way our body reacts to specific nutrients which can greatly increase the risk of chronic disease or unfavourable health outcomes if not nutritionally managed.

Please bring along any prior medical testing to your consult, including skin prick tests, growth charts, and pathology.

What is included in a customised meal plan?

A customised 7-day meal plan that meets your individualised nutrition requirements and provides you with:

  • Simple wholesome recipes for each meal with the flexibility of:

    • Supercharging with added nutrients for increased health benefits

    • Altered to your taste and flavour preference

    • Flexible preparation times to assist when time poor, or have more time to create.

    • Ingredient substitutions

  • Focus on minimal food waste

  • A shopping list for convenience.

  • Ability to simply add recipes to your meal plan between consults to increase the variety and avoid flavour fatigue.

  • Supplementation guide

  • A flexible template to teach you how to prepare a healthy meal to meet your personalised requirements.
