What are your qualifications?

I am a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian (BachNutrDiet) and also completed a bachelor degree in Exercise Science. 

I am experienced and qualified to work with both adults and paediatrics. 

What is involved in the first consultation?

I first spend time getting to know you or your child, this ensures I tailor my intervention towards your needs and lifestyle. Initial consultations run for 60 minutes and include:

  • A comprehensive analysis of your past and present nutrition and medical concerns,

  • Discussion of your health goals to create steps to achieve them,

  • Nutrition and dietetic advice

  • Education regarding your nutrition-related health concern,

  • Individualised nutrition recommendations

  • Supplementation guide (if required)

  • Customised nutrition and meal plan (optional).

Do you recommend any medical testing?

Only if required. Testing is dependant on your nutritional concern and symptoms.

Please bring along any prior medical testing to your consult, including skin prick tests, growth charts, and pathology.

What are your areas of interest? 

Infants and children, specialities include:

  • Nutrition for healthy growth and development, whether that be from a boob, bottle or family foods.

  • Slow growth and developmental concerns

  • Obesity

  • Introducing solids and progression through textures 

  • Gastrointestinal concerns, including reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, lactose intolerance and coeliac disease.

  • Cystic fibrosis

  • Preterm infants nutritional requirements

  • Allergies and intolerances (IgE and non-IgE)

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder, including fussy eaters and increasing food acceptance

  • Diets to support behavioural issues such as ADHD.
     

Do you accept Private Health or Medicare Rebates?

Yes, I am an approved provider so you can access rebates if you are eligible. 

Private Health helps cover the dietetic services fees without a GP referral. To learn your level of cover check with your health insurance company.

 

Medicare: A GP referral is required when patients wish to claim dietetic services on medicare, medicare covers chronic conditions and obesity (BMI > 25kg/m2).

NDIS and DVA are also welcomed.
