What are your qualifications?

Nicole is an Accreditated Practising Dietitian with further studies in supporting Paediatrics.

What is involved in the first consultation?

I first spend time getting to know you or your child, this ensures I tailor my recommendations towards your needs and lifestyle. Initial consultations usually run for 60-90 minutes and include:

  • A comprehensive analysis of your past and present nutrition and medical concerns,

  • Discussion of your health goals to create steps to achieve them,

  • Nutrition and dietetic advice

  • Education regarding your nutrition-related health concern,

  • Individualised nutrition recommendations

  • Supplementation guide (if required)

  • Customised nutrition and meal plan (additional fee).

Do you recommend any medical testing?

Only if required. Testing is dependant on your nutritional concern and symptoms.

Please bring along any prior medical testing to your consult, including skin prick tests, growth charts, and pathology.

What are your areas of interest? 

Infants and children, specialities include:​

  • Faltering growth

  • Nutrition requirements for preterm infants

  • Introduction of solids

  • Nutrition deficiencies 

  • Food allergies and intolerances (management and safe reintroduction or allergen)

  • Fussy eating and food aversion 

  • Coeliac disease

  • Increasing BMI

  • Tube feeding and weaning

  • Gastrointestinal concerns, including reflux, maldigestion, malabsorption, constipation, diarrhoea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. 

  • Nutritional genomics & nutrient therapy to support symptoms associated with ASD and ADHD
     

Do you accept Private Health or Medicare Rebates?

Yes, I am an approved provider so you can access rebates if you are eligible. 

Private Health helps to cover the dietetic services fees without a GP referral. To learn your level of cover check with your health insurance company.

 

A GP medicare referral is required when patients wish to claim dietetic services on medicare, please discuss this with your GP.

NDIS is also welcomed.
