A critical period when nutrition needs are greatly increased and food and supplements greatly influence the health outcomes of momma and bub. When mommas nutrition intake isn’t supplying key nutrients needed of a growing belly and bub, it can lead to unfavourable outcomes including miscarriage, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, preterm birth, and cognitive and growth and cognitive development delays in your future child.
On the other hand, eating a nutritious diet with key nutrients during pregnancy is linked to a reduced risk of pregnancy complications, including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, preterm birth, miscarriage, excess weight gain, anaemia and support unpleasant symptoms such as fatigue and morning sickness.
