Salad dressing.

A salad should never go naked.


Lets start with the basics you can add... 1. Extra virgin olive oil / Coconut oil / Sesame oil / Flaxseed oil / Avocado oil

2. The juice of a Lemon/Lime/Orange/Mango 3. Apple Cider Vinegar


If you're wanting a little bit more from your salad dressing, try these...

Lemon Dressing 1/3 cup lemon juice + 1/2 tsp of honey + Himalayan salt + pepper, shake. (makes 1/3 cup) Honey Mustard 1/4 cup coconut oil + 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 1 tsp honey + 1 tsp dijon mustard+ Himalayan salt + pepper, shake. (makes 1/2 cup) Herby Green 1 cup loosely packed mint + 1/2 cup loosely packed parsley + 1 tsp grated lemon rind + 1.5 tsp lemon juice + 3 tbsp coconut oil + Himalayan salt + pepper, blend or process. (makes 1/2 cup)

Pesto Dressing

½ cup packed fresh basil +1 clove garlic minced + 3 tbsp pine nuts + ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil + 2 tbsp lemon juice + ¼ teaspoon salt + pepper, blend. OJ Tahini 1/3 cup freshly squeezed orange + 2 tbsp tahini + 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + 1 minced clove of garlic + 1 tsp of honey + Himalayan salt + pepper, shake well. (makes 1/2 cup) Easy Vinaigrette

3 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 1 tsp dijon mustard + 1 minced clove of garlic + 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil + 1/4 tbsp Himalayan salt + pepper, shake well, sit for 30 minutes. (makes 1/3 cup)



Lemon Basil Vinaigrette 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil + juice of 2-3 lemons + 1 tsp raw apple cider vinegar + 1 minced clove of garlic + 1 tsp dried basil +. 1/2 tsp sea salt, shake. (makes 1/2 cup)


Lemon & Turmeric Salad Dressing

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice + 1" fresh ginger (skin removed) + 1 garlic clove + 2 tsp ground turmeric (or 2" fresh) + 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar + 1/4 tsp black pepper + salt to taste, blend. (makes 1/2 cup)


Turmeric Vinaigrette 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil + 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar + 1 tbsp finely chopped shallots + 1 tsp honey + 1 tsp ground turmeric + 1/2 tsp ground ginger + 1/2 tsp sea salt, shake.

(makes 3/4 cup)


Ginger Sesame Dressing

1/2 cup extra virgin oil + 1/4 cup rice vinegar + 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce + 2 tsp of honey + 2 tsp minced garlic + 1/2 tsp ground ginger + 1 tsp sesame oil, shake.


Balsamic Vinaigrette 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar + 1 tsp minced garlic + Himalayan salt, shake.

(makes 1/8 cup)


Fresh Mustard Dressing Juice of 2 lemons + 1/2 tsp honey + 1/2 cup avocado oil + pinch of dry mustard powder + Himalayan salt + black pepper + 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, shake. (makes 3/4 cup)



Mango Basil Dressing

1 cup chopped mango + juice from 1 lime + 6 basil leaves + 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil + pinch of Himalayan salt + pinch of black pepper, blend.

(makes 3/4 cup)


Blueberry Vinaigrette

1/2 cup fresh blueberries + 1 tbsp extra virgin olive + 1 tsp balsamic vinegar + 1 tsp honey + pinch of Himalayan salt, blend


Pomegranate Dressing

1/2 cup red wine vinegar + 1/4 teaspoon minced ginger + 1/8 teaspoon Himalayan salt + 1/3 cup pomegranate juice, shake.


Carrot & Ginger

½ cup carrots + 1 tbsp peeled shallots + 1 tbsp fresh ginger + 1 tbsp of honey + Himalayan salt + 1/3 cup extra virgin oil, blend.


Hot Vinaigrette

½ cup balsamic vinegar + 4 tbsp olive oil + 2 tsp coconut aminos + ~2 tsp Sriracha + 1 tsp Dijon mustard + 1 tsp all-purpose seasoning + pepper to taste, shake.


Sesame Dressing

1/4 cup orange juice + 3 tbsp peanut oil + 3tbsp toasted sesame seeds + 3tbsp tamari + 2 tbsp white wine vinegar + 2 tbsp honey + 1 clove garlic minced, blend.


Turmeric Miso Dressing

1 tsp turmeric powder + 2 tsp white miso paste + juice of 1 lemon + ¼ cup olive oil + ¼ cup tahini, shake.


Oil-less dressing

½ cup sun-dried tomatoes soaked 1hr in juice of 1 orange + ½ cup fresh basil leaves + 2 tomatoes + 1 minced clove of garlic, 1 Medjool date (optional) + pinch of salt (optional) + Ground pepper,blend. (Makes 2 cups)

Avocado Vinaigrette:

1 ripe avocado + 1 cup white wine blender + Juice from 1 lemon + Himalayan salt + pepper (blend) + mix in 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil.


Ranch

1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt + 1 tsp garlic powder + 1/4 tsp onion powder +1 ½ tsp lemon juice + 1/2 tsp dried dill or fresh chopped chives + 1/4 tsp salt + 2 tbsp water, mix. (serves 4)

Chipotle Dressing: 1/2 cup greek yoghurt + 1 tap garlic powder + 1/4 tsp onion powder + 1 tsp lemon juice + 1/2 tsp dried dill+ 1/4 tsp salt + 3/4 teaspoon chipotle chilli powder + 2 tbsp water, mix. (serves 4)


French Dressing

⅓ cup olive oil + ¼ cup white wine vinegar + 1 tbsp finely chopped shallot + 1 tbsp tomato paste + 1 tsp dijon mustard + Himalayan salt + ground pepper, blend.


Spicy Cashew Dressing

½ cup salted, roasted cashews + ¼ cup extra virgin oil + 3 tbsp unseasoned rice vinegar + ¾ tsp crushed red pepper flakes + ¾ tsp. fish sauce + ¾ tsp. honey+ 1 garlic clove + Himalayan salt, blend.


Peanut Dressing 1/4 cup peanut butter + 1 tbsp soy sauce or + 2 tsp honey + 1/2 tsp fresh ginger + 2 tsp apple cider vinegar + 2-4 tsp warm water: 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional), mix.
